Do Companies Really Need an AI Strategy?
Do companies really need an AI strategy?
Personally, I don't think so.
This might be an unpopular opinion given how many companies are talking about developing or launching their AI strategy.
I think organisations just need one strategy that outlines what they want to achieve.
For example, entering new markets, reaching certain sales targets, improving customer satisfaction, being more efficient, or launching new products.
If one of these goals is to "implement AI", my questions would be, why and what for?
AI is a tool that can help to achieve a goal, rather than the achievement itself.
Using AI to achieve goals should be done with a well thought out plan including change management, but not a stand-alone strategy.
Do you agree or do you think AI needs its own strategy?
